How to do Facebook promotion effectively

1. Create attractive content

Post diverse content including images, status updates, videos, polls, etc. You can ask your fans questions for them to provide answers. Not only can your fans see this content, they will also appear in your fans’ personal updates section, so their friends are also able to see it, even if they may not know about your brand.

2. Interact with your fans

Once your content has helped you attract fans to your page, you need to be responsive to their questions or complaints. If a user posts a negative comment on your page, you must respond in a timely manner to avoid a negative impact on your company. Remember, Facebook is public and anyone can post content on your page. The best thing to do is to politely handle negative comments on it and project a positive image of your brand. Put more effort into interaction. Make an effort to connect with your fans. Gather more feedback and post some tips that will help them or links to articles that your audience likes. When you focus on providing content to your users and focusing on their needs, rather than just promoting your product, you will build a deeper and more trusting relationship with your users.

3. Try Facebook Groups

Facebook groups and company pages are different. You can create a group for your brand. The main difference between them is that a page shows your brand image, while a group is a place where users with common interests can discuss freely. In a group, members can post any kind of content they want, just as they can on their personal pages and company pages.

4. Don’t over promote your products

It is wrong to over promote or not promote your products at all. You can post content related to your products from time to time. You can use the 80-20 rule here. If you post 5 pieces of content a week, one of them should be related to your product and the other 4 should be helpful or interesting.

5. Create Personalized Tabs Custom Tabs

You can create personalized tabs through ‘Views & Apps’ on the dedicated page. You can use these tabs as a landing page for your page, personalized tabs can include customer stories, special offers or other events you are hosting.

6. Add Milestones

Facebook pages are supported to add milestones, which allows you to keep track of major events in your business. You can use this to highlight some of your major achievements, such as fan growth, awards, product launches and other significant events. You can post milestones through the dynamic update box, which requires you to enter some information, including name, location, event, a brief description and a picture.

7. Utilize Facebook Insights Analytics Report

Facebook Insights Analytics Report is Facebook’s internal analytics tool that helps you to analyze and measure Facebook in general, including the number of visitors to the page, engagement. It helps you discover what content is most engaging to your fans. You can see the Insights Analytics Report here: http://www.facebook.com/insights.

8. Tag other users or Pages

Previously on Facebook you could only tag other users, now you can tag other pages too. By allowing other people to post content on your timeline, your page will be more engaging and active. By enabling this feature, as soon as a user tags your page in a post, that post will automatically be published on your page’s timeline.

9. Bind other channels

You can bind other channels to Facebook. We don’t recommend tying Twitter because Twitter posts much more often than Facebook. you can tie the following 3 channels:
Youtube: By linking to Youtube, your fans will be able to see your Youtube videos directly.
SlideShare: Similar to Youtube, by linking to Youtube, followers can see your SlideShare directly.
Flickr: Through the binding, fans can directly see your Flickr pictures.

10. Using questionnaires or polls

In the Facebook status update bar, you can post a questionnaire or poll. You can use this to gather user feedback on your product or service. It’s also a great way to interact with your fans and increase their engagement.

11. Organize Contests

Contests are another way to increase engagement with existing fans and attract new ones. But to understand Facebook’s rules about creating contests, consider using the Wildfire app.

12. Top or hide posts

You can change the status of posts on your specialty, including top, hide or delete.

13. Embed Facebook Posts

It’s easy to embed a Facebook post, just copy a piece of code and paste it into your HTML code. You can promote your Facebook content in this way to get more fans.
